Philly’s Supper Restaurant to Debut Fifty Shades of Grey Dinner

posted on Jun 18, 2012 by

Hopefully by now when someone says 50 Shades of Grey you don’t think they are talking about an extensive crayon collection. It’s hard to go anywhere without hearing about the much adored novel and now it’s invading Philly’s Supper Restaurant.

The special dinner, dreamed up by Supper’s proprietor and 50 Shades fan, Jennifer Prensky, invites more than books fans (although it’s anticipated to be most of the crowd) for Executive Chef Mitch Prensky’s recreation of the dinner menu served at the Masked Ball in the popular novel, Fifty Shades Darker  by EL James

The four course menu, taken directly from the book, includes delectables like Salmon Tartare and Roasted Duck Breast with Foie Gras. The dinner, to unfold Wednesday, June 27 at 7:30 pm, is priced at $65 per person, with an optional $100 supplement for the exact wine pairings, that were featured in the book.

Since it wouldn’t be a true 50 Shades party without some naughty tidbits, high-end lingerie and toy boutique, Coeur, will be on hand with a one night pop up shop at Supper, featuring a selection of items mentioned in the series, from their Rittenhouse Square store.
